IN THE GLASS
Sweet on the nose, with aromas of butterscotch, toasted almonds, and raisin bread, Otis Rum is medium bodied and silky smooth. Notes of vanilla and mocha as the rum first passes the palate turn to hints of black liquorice and pepper, making for a seductive finish.
IN THE MOUTH
Light texture with firm flavours of butterscotch mingled with wood spice, complements of vanilla, cinnamon and orange peel. Otis has a light influence of corn whiskey, a result of the oak barrels used in the aging process.
MATURED BY NATURE
Handcrafted in small batches by master distillers Nelson Dilbert and Walker Romanica, Otis Rum is aged underwater in a secret location off the shore of Grand Cayman. The gentle motion of the waves and the alternating pressure of the water during the rising and ebbing tides helps push the rum deep into the pores of the oak barrels, extracting all of the rich oak and bourbon flavors from the wood.
Using only locally grown sugar cane from biological cultivation as a base, Otis is a traditionally produced high quality drink.
